How to flash Samsung firmware with Odin
- 1Install the Samsung USB driver, then reboot your PC so Windows loads it.
- 2Power off the phone. Hold Volume Down + Bixby/Home + Power (or the Volume-key combo for your model) to enter Download mode, then press Volume Up to confirm.
- 3Open Odin as Administrator and connect the phone by USB. A blue/green ID:COM box means the driver is working.
- 4Load the extracted firmware files into their slots — BL, AP, CP and CSC (use HOME_CSC to keep your data; CSC wipes it).
- 5Leave Re-Partition unchecked. Keep Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time as they are.
- 6Press Start and wait for PASS. Do not unplug the cable while it runs.
Flashing the wrong firmware can brick your device. Always download the exact build for your model and region, and never unplug the cable while Odin is running.

Odin is the Windows flashing utility used to install official Samsung firmware, custom recovery images such as TWRP, kernels, and to recover soft-bricked devices. It supports the full Galaxy range — from the Galaxy S and Note series to the newest foldables — and remains the most trusted way to flash stock firmware, downgrade a build, or unbrick a phone.
